It all started when a local Swedish band called Mickey Down Under stopped playing live shows. One band member, PA. Qvick, wanted to create his own personal house sound influenced by Marshall Jefferson, Nick Holder, Larry Heard, Todd Edwards and a bunch of other artists. Baeka was born! He was infected by Chicago, Detroit, New York, New Jersey and Toronto house along with sixties psychedelia as well as seventies disco and UK Garage. This funny Swede signed with Rekids, Bush, Clear Blu, Deeplay, Morris Audio and recently Bumpin' City, Henry Street Music, i! Records, Mole Music and Gents & Dandy's.
“Beat & desire” was his debut on Morris Audio Citysport in 2004. Now, 16 years later, it’s still a lovely journey into all forms of deeper house music, not forgetting the beautiful voice of Tina!
